The Camel Exchange is open!

Doodle history: Johnnynorms, Caroline

The camel above was initiated by Johnnynorms of Elbowroom, and continued by Caroline of Caro's Lines - and it heralds the commencement of this blog. It's a place for art to mutate in the hands of more than one artist. Someone posts a doodle, another picks it up and adds something to it, or transforms it. At the moment this is the province of us two arty people, but we would love to welcome on board other kindred spirits who are prepared to share some work and see it transformed beyond their control!

The idea for this camel collaborative came from Caroline, who quotes the following from Bruce Mau's
Incomplete Manifesto for Growth.
Collaborate. The space between people working together is filled with conflict, friction, strife, exhilaration, delight, and vast creative potential.

This is such a cool idea. I'd love to join in. Do I just go right ahead and work on the camel or start something new?

Zinkibaru - I've posted some doodles that you might like to play with. But if none of them are to your taste I expect there will be others soon! We'd love new things too.

Hello Zinkibaru, feel free to work on anything here, including the camel. I've drafted some thoughts on rules and logistics - see under the Chimney Face picture above. We're both thinking off tops of heads - which is great fun.
