Carolina Moon
Doodle History: Caroline, Johnnynorms
Some biro, then lots of pattern stamp and digital brush.
Below an altered colour/contrast version.
Carolina Moon is a jazz tune - I can hear Thelonious Monk
in my head right now, tinkling away at it.

Is that a new jazz tune or an old one - looks pretty spiffy to me - you've made the album cover - where's the CD?
Definitely! I can hear that bass vibrating through the shapes and colors here!
I like it! good to see all our interpretations in a row (as it were).
caught a bit of monk on the way home from class last night - there's a loose themed, loose production show put out on R2 hosted by Jools Holland.
You mean in a line, not having a row! I tried to find my tape of Monk "Genius of Modern Music, Vol 2" on which is Carolina Moon. I can't, therefore I've lent it to someone! Great album - 1952. Not that I've heard many Monks.
Steve, I'd love to hear it - but I don't! Only through memory prompted by the title. Still thinking about this.
Oh yeah, understandable. I'm just deliberately associating Monk's bass stylings with the wild twists and curves you incorporated into your collage here.
