night birds
Thanks Caroline for the opportunity to work on your doodle (and upping the size). I had some fun at lunch today, making a collage almost entirely from the shapes of your bird. Of course I stuck with birds! Also included is some nice negative space made from the scraps from cutting out your shapes. It looks like it has real potrential to be turned into something interesting.

These are great Steve!
And yes that negative space is intriguing...
You must have been posting just around the same time as I was posting Jo's versions too.
great creations, steve. they look as if they could be extra-terrestrial visitors, like the soup dragons.
Thanks Caroline and ian. Jo's are too cool as well!! Hmmm, maybe it (the timing) is some strange cosmic connection (insert spooky spacey theramin melody). ;)
I love the theramin - if there is an instrument I was meant to have played with and haven't its that!
Like the birds Steve, I'm thinking about that negative space you've left now, and all that it could become...
Yeah, I love it too Caroline, and as simple as the instrument looks, as far as playing, I'd probably be awful. There's a great documentary out simply titled "Theramin" about the instrument's creator, and his strange life. Highly reccomended. Anyhow, I keep thinking of the Beach Boy's melody to "Good Vibrations".
Jo, thanks! I can't wait to see what you cook up then.
