Question: Are the changes to be accomplished using pen/ink or other sketching type mediums only? Or can we use other methods to expand on the sketches?

Hello paint chip, glad to see you want to take part.

I'm all for total freedom of methods (and nearly complete freedom of expression). So I envisage the range from printing off and adding pencil, ink, paint, scraps...through scanning in extra bits of artwork and combining on a photoshop type program...to embellishing or transforming or subverting completely on computer.

I suppose different starting artwork will generate different responses - some will look finished after one or two steps, others will roll on for longer. It should be a playground where we aren't afraid to jump in and have fun.
