"glass-out triptych"

I had too much fun with this one yesterday, after finally getting to work on it. I just used a piece of paper with a wash of watercolors, held a copy of Ian's squares under the paper, held both against a well-lit window, traced it with a sharpee, played some angular beat music ("Timeless" by Goldie) and got busy. I was very tempted to make this more representational but now I'm glad I resisted.

Woo, I'm getting psychedelic Spy Vs. Spy, from the Timothy Leary edition of MAD magazine - it's the angles and colours, man!

I really like this one, Steve - Left field!

Thanks all! Your prompt was excellent Ian-it really left a lot of room for work and had just enough to inspire. And yeah, I remember Spy vs Spy from Mad--classic, clever stuff!
