Camel Exchange on New Blogger

Hee Hee - I was about to post this when I saw Caroline's birthday post...It wasn't an accident Caro, I was suddenly offered an update, so Camel Exchange has been sucked into the newblogger whirpool along with my other blogs. I was worried you wouldn't be able to post, but you can! If anyone can't post, it's probably because you're still on oldblogger. Updating, if you can, is painless! Well, my experience was that all my site design has remained intact. Anyone have anything different happen?

Happy Blogiversary to us - tomorrow!

And to celebrate I've accidentally moved us over to the new blogger... hope you can all still post!

"glass-out triptych"

I had too much fun with this one yesterday, after finally getting to work on it. I just used a piece of paper with a wash of watercolors, held a copy of Ian's squares under the paper, held both against a well-lit window, traced it with a sharpee, played some angular beat music ("Timeless" by Goldie) and got busy. I was very tempted to make this more representational but now I'm glad I resisted.

Doodle History: Caroline, Jo

I sent Jo an invite but as she is already on Beta Blogger and Camel isn't she wasn't able to become a member yet.

Beta Blogger doesn't accept me when I attempt to upgrade - can those of you who have already changed still post here?

night birds

Thanks Caroline for the opportunity to work on your doodle (and upping the size). I had some fun at lunch today, making a collage almost entirely from the shapes of your bird. Of course I stuck with birds! Also included is some nice negative space made from the scraps from cutting out your shapes. It looks like it has real potrential to be turned into something interesting.
